Double Renovations - Community Chest Conference Games 1-3

Samuel somehow gets two $1200+ renovation cards within three turns in the same game, trading rates plummet compared to the Chance Conference, and lots more happened in the latest Leagueopoly event.

The first 3 games of Leagueopoly’s Season 1 Community Chest Conference were played on July 15, 2023.

Format (Leagueopoly Standard):

  • Double rent on a full-set of properties
  • No vacation cash
  • Auctions enabled
  • Rent collected while in jail
  • Mortgages enabled
  • Even house building enabled
  • Starting cash: $1,500
  • Player order randomized

Unfortunately, SNHK disconnected in Game 1 and did not reconnect to finish the match, so they were ultimately disqualified. Points were still earned as normal for the remaining players with SNHK earning 0 by default.

Game 1

Game 1 was won by lainuel after TheRandomMelon landed on Toulouse with 3 Houses causing him to have to pay $800 which he did not have. lainuel owned all Israeli, Italian, Chinese and French properties as well as 2 German properties and 3 Airports. TheRandomMelon owned all Brazilian and English Properties as well as 1 German Property, 1 Airport and both Utilities. Nobody owned either American Properties. This game was notable for the fact that late-game lainuel landed on a Surprise space and was forced to pay $25 for each House and $100 for each Hotel while he had 12 Houses and 9 Hotels. Three turns later, he then landed on a Treasure space and was forced to pay $30 per House and $120 per Hotel while he had 45 Houses. Despite having to pay a total of $2,550 because of this and destroying most of his properties in the process, he still won the game.

Game 2

Game 2 was won by TheJayJay after TheRandomMelon landed on Luxury Tax. TheJayJay owned all Israeli, Italian and German properties as well as two Chinese properties, 3 Airports and both Utilities. TheRandomMelon owned all Brazilian, Italian, French, English and American properties as well as 1 Airport, Throughout the late-game TheRandomMelon kept on landing on TheJayJay’s German properties causing him to have to destroy his houses and mortgage his properties until he was drained of all of his money.

Game 3

Game 3 was won by lainuel after TheJayJay landed on a Surprise space which forced him to move straight to Shanghai with 3 houses, causing him to have to pay $750. lainuel owned all Brazilian, Chinese, French and English properties as well as 1 American and 2 Israeli properties, 3 Airports and 1 Utility. TheJayJay owned all German properties as well as 1 Israeli, 1 American and 2 Italian Properties, 1 Airport and 1 Utility. TheJayJay did have houses on his German properties, but lainuel did not land on them.
